The most wonderful voice in Spanish opera today

After winning the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions (New York) and the Concours International de Voix d’Opéra Placido Domingo (Paris), Ainhoa Arteta embarked on a brilliant international career on the stage, combining her opera performances with recitals and concerts conducted by the most renowned maestros. Among her many remarkable achievements, we should emphasize she was named Spain Brand Ambassador, received two Doctor Honoris Causa degrees for the UIMP and Rey Juan Carlos Universities and a Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts.

Also, she has performed some of her most memorable roles in plays such as Cyrano de Bergerac, La Bohème, Otello, Turandot, Carmen, Dialogues des Carmélites, Eugene Onegin, Simon Boccanegra, Le dernier jour d’un condamné, Don Carlo, Don Giovanni, Falstaff, Verdi’s Requiem, Manon Lescaut, Tosca and Madama Butterfly, at prestigious theatres like the Covent Garden Royal Opera House, Bolshoi,  Arena di Verona, Scala in Milan, Sydney Opera House, Teatro Royal, Liceu or the Paris Opera, among many others.

At Cap Roig, Ainhoa Arteta will perform a recital conducted by Andres Salado, one of the most outstanding Spanish conductors of his generation, who has also conducted many of the biggest Spanish orchestras. Winner of a Princesa de Girona award in arts and letters in 2016, Andres Salado is the artistic and in-house director of the Youth Orchestra of Extremadura and Orquesta Opus 23. GIO, a versatile symphonic orchestra, will accompany Ainhoa Arteta on stage, capable of conveying the finest music from different genres and featuring prestigious national and international soloists.
