Music can give new opportunities
This year, the charitable project promoted by CaixaBank and Clipper’s Live at the Cap Roig Festival will be allocated to Cáritas. Part of the profits from Sara Baras’s charity concert, which will be held on August 21st at the Cap Roig Botanical Garden, will be used to support Cáritas educational projects that offer socio-educational help to children at risk of social exclusion from Palafrugell and Baix Empordà. This project will accompany them in a comprehensive way during the learning process, guaranteeing equal opportunities for them.
Cáritas, through these programs, works with children between the ages of 6 and 16 who have difficulties to keep up with the learning rhythm so that they can complete their school education. These projects, which involve the children’s families and their educational environment, are developed all year outside of school hours through educational reinforcement and work on values, habits, skills and attitudes which can promote motivation for learning and its development.
